femoston 1/10 tablets contain a combination of estradiol (estrogen) and dydrogesterone (progestogen) used in hormone replacement therapy (hrt)
it is prescribed for women experiencing symptoms of menopause such as hot flushes, night sweats, and vaginal dryness
the combination helps restore hormonal balance and reduce discomfort associated with estrogen deficiency
it also helps prevent bone loss (osteoporosis) in postmenopausal women at risk
each pack contains two types of tablets taken sequentially over a 28-day cycle
- take one tablet daily following the sequence in the pack
- first 14 days: estradiol-only tablets
- next 14 days: estradiol + dydrogesterone tablets
- start the next pack immediately after finishing the previous one
- take at the same time each day, with or without food
