AKYNZEO is a combination antiemetic medication containing netupitant and palonosetron, used to prevent nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy.
Netupitant is a neurokinin-1 (NK1) receptor antagonist, while palonosetron is a serotonin (5-HT3) receptor antagonist; together they provide enhanced protection against both acute and delayed nausea and vomiting.
