It features a convenient one-step insertion process with a new auto-applicator for easy setup. Each sensor can be worn for up to 10 days, and G6 Sensor overlay patches are included to help keep the sensor in place longer. The small and discreet sensor measures glucose just beneath the skin and sends readings to a compatible smartphone every 5 minutes. The Dexcom G6 app provides real-time glucose readings and trends, helping users track their glucose levels and anticipate changes.
