Dr. Scholl's Severe Cracked Heel Balm is designed to meet the needs of people who have extremely dry, cracked heels and/or thick, tough skin on the heels, which can be both uncomfortable as well as embarrassing. The dermatologically tested heel balm is enriched with an ideal amount of urea (25%) that starts working instantly to draw water deep into the skin. It glides on smoothly, hydrating your skin, moisturizing and filling cracked heels, while leaving an invisible layer of protection. Urea offers unique skin softening, drawing moisture deep into the skin, supercharging skin hydration. Dr. Scholl's Cracked Heel Balm also contains the moisturizing effects of shea butter and cocoa butter which helps moisturize dry and cracked heels. In addition, this blend contains Epsom Salt, known to be a natural remedy for inflammation. The levels of Epsom salt are comparable to a soaking bath, and the urea improves skin penetration of Epsom salt, making it more effective. Also essential oils like lavender and peppermint soothe the irritated, dry skin.
