Filtrum 400mg Anti-Diarrhea Tablet is a next-generation anti-diarrhea medication known for its effective sorption capacity, which allows it to absorb harmful substances. This makes it suitable for both adults and children experiencing diarrhea from various causes, including food, medication, alcohol, and other types of poisoning. The active ingredient in Filtrum® is lignin, a natural substance derived from wood through a specialized treatment process. Unlike older anti-diarrhea medications, Filtrum® can absorb a wide range of toxins, including low molecular weight components such as alcohol and certain medications. This unique property makes it a versatile sorbent for treating diarrhea of different origins, making it especially convenient for travel and for individuals who spend extended periods away from home.

  • Filtrum® is administered 3-4 times a day 1 hour before the food intake or other drugs administration.
  • Medium one-time dose is for children. Under 1 year old : Half of the pill; 1-3 years old – 1 pill; 4-7 years old – 1 pill, 7-12 years old – 1–2 pills; for adults – 2-3 pills.
  • Note: In case of diarrhea of unknown origin, when there is blood in stool, when duration is over 2 days, and also when there are other symptoms present (high temperature, vomiting, weakness), doctor’s consultation should be obtained immediately.
