With the TM 750 infrared thermometer from Medisana, you can take precise body temperature measurements on the forehead or in the ear. The multifunction thermometer emits an acoustic signal when it is ready to measure and when the measurement is complete.
The measurement with the TM 750 infrared thermometer is taken between the forehead and temple or optionally in the ear. The measurement result is displayed within a few seconds. In addition to measuring body temperature, the thermometer can also be used to measure the temperature of an object, for example the ambient temperature, the temperature of liquids or surfaces. A measurement in this function is possible in the range from 0 to 100 degrees Celsius (32°F to 212°F).
In addition to the digital display of all relevant data, it also offers a visual fever alarm by means of a colour change: if the LED display is green, the temperature is still OK, if it is red, an elevated temperature has been measured. The memory function is particularly practical for comparing the values and thus for monitoring the course of the fever: the infrared thermometer automatically saves the last 30 measured values. It also displays the date and time.

- 2. To measure body temperature correctly on the forehead, the sensor cover needs to be placed on the sensor.
- 3. Place the thermometer with the sensor on the forehead (or temple). Press and hold the forehead measurement mode button. Slowly move the thermometer smoothly over the forehead toward the other temple, keeping the button pressed down.
- 4. After the temperature has been determined, the device emits a signal tone. The result will be shown on the display.
- 5. If the measurement result is 38.0°C (100.4°F) or higher, the fever alarm activates, and the 5 LED indicators light up red.
- 6. After a few seconds, the measurement result will be saved automatically, and the device will switch off automatically without pressing any button.
