Propecia 1mg is a prescription-only tablet taken daily to treat male pattern hair loss in men. The active ingredient is finasteride.
Finasteride reduces the amount of testosterone converted to DHT (dihydrotestosterone) which results in hair regrowth and renewed hair thickness in most men.
PROPECIA does not affect hair on other parts of the body.
