Verrumal Solution For Wart Removal is used for the treatment of common warts (warts beneath the soles of the feet in areas where pressure is applied to the soles of the feet) and flat warts on hands and feet. Salicylic acid and fluorouracil are two of the active ingredients; they are keratolytic and anti-wart substances. Skin viruses are the source of warts. Fluorouracil, which slows down the growth of warts, and salicylic acid, a medicine that softens the epidermis. The salicylic acid is slowly and painlessly absorbed into the skin causing peeling of the skin cells that contain the wart virus. IMPORTANT: Need to be applied on the wart or cones and do not applied to normal healthy skin.
How To Apply
- Verrumal solution should be applied two to three times a day to each wart, avoiding large areas of skin and contact with eyes or mucous membranes. It is not suitable for infants and should not exceed the recommended dose. Apply Verrumal solution only on the wart itself and not on the healthy skin surrounding the wart. If necessary, cover the surrounding skin with a protective oily ointment. Use a toothpick for tiny warts and remove the residual thin film before each application. Treatment typically lasts 6 weeks.
