ZINNAT tablets contains the active ingredient cefuroxime axetil
It is antibiotic used to reduce bacterial infections
Cefuroxime is a cephalosporin. Like penicillins, it is a beta-lactam antibiotic. It acts by binding to specific penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) located inside the bacterial cell wall t is thus it inhibits the bacterial cell wall synthesis.
Without a cell wall, a bacterial cell is vulnerable to outside water and molecular pressures, which causes the cell to quickly die.

- Take Cefuroxime after food.
- The recommended dose of Cefuroxime is 250 mg to 500 mg twice daily depending on the severity and type of infection.
