Zyloric 100 mg Tablets contain allopurinol 100 mg, a xanthine oxidase inhibitor that reduces the production of uric acid in the body.
It is used for the long-term management of gout and other conditions caused by high uric acid levels (hyperuricemia).
Zyloric helps prevent the formation of urate crystals in the joints and kidneys.
This reduces the risk of gout attacks and kidney complications.
It is also commonly prescribed for patients undergoing chemotherapy to prevent elevated uric acid levels.
