CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser is an anti blemish gel-to-foam refreshing gel-to-foam facial cleanser for blemish-prone skin, that helps to reduce the appearance of blemishes and blackheads, and removes excess oil while leaving the skin feeling soft and smooth. The formula penetrates pores to eliminate the cause of spots & blemishes, while protecting the skin’s natural barrier. It's an acne face wash with salicylic acid which is a beta hydroxy acid (bha) that helps gently exfoliate and remove dead skin cells, reduce blackheads & the appearance of pores, and treats & prevents acne. CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser contains 3 essential ceramides that are found naturally in the skin and make up 50% of the lipids in the skin barrier. All cerave products, formulated with three essential ceramides (1, 3, 6-ii)to help maintain the skin’s natural barrier. - Recommended use morning and evening.
- Use pump applicator to apply to wet hands and massage into the skin. Rinse thoroughly.
- Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
- If going outside, apply sunscreen after using this product.
- If irritation or sensitivity develops, stop use of product or ask a doctor.

2% Salicylic acid has anti-inflammatory properties and also a keratolytic action due to its ability to penetrate the pores and exfoliate the skin. Furthermore, it has antibacterial and sebum-regulating properties. It helps regulate sebum and reduce both blackheads and blemishes lending the skin an even and smoother appearance; Niacinamide also helps to regulate excess sebum and improve pores' appearance; Ceramides 1, 3, and 6-II help replenish the skin's existing ceramides and thus restore the skin barrier.
