Canesten® 100 mg Vaginal Tablets are a highly effective treatment for vaginal yeast infections, typically caused by the Candida fungus. These tablets work by directly targeting and eliminating the fungi responsible for the infection, helping to relieve common symptoms such as itching, burning, abnormal discharge, and discomfort during urination or intercourse. The active ingredient, Clotrimazole, is an antifungal agent that works by disrupting the cell membrane of the fungi, preventing its growth and spread. The treatment is convenient and easy to use, with one tablet to be inserted deeply into the vagina each night before bed for six consecutive days.

  • Read the full product information leaflet prior to use. If symptoms, persist consult your doctor.
  • To use, wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying the medication. Unless otherwise directed by a doctor, insert one vaginal tablet deeply into the vagina each evening before bedtime, ideally while lying down with legs slightly drawn up. The tablet requires moisture to dissolve completely, so it is important to insert it as deeply as possible to avoid undissolved pieces from being expelled. If the tablet doesn't dissolve fully overnight, using a vaginal cream may be recommended.
  • The treatment involves using one tablet each evening for six consecutive days. It is intended for use by adults and children aged 12 and older. Pregnant women should follow their doctor’s instructions closely.

  • Effective in clearing up yeast infections, reducing recurrence, and restoring comfort and health to the vaginal area.
