Ciprobay HC Otic is an ear drop suspension that combines ciprofloxacin 0.2% HCl, an antibiotic, and hydrocortisone 1%, a corticosteroid. The ciprofloxacin component helps to treat bacterial infections in the ear by inhibiting bacterial growth, while hydrocortisone reduces inflammation, swelling, and irritation caused by the infection. This medication is specifically formulated for ear use and is not intended for ophthalmic (eye) or oral use. CIPROBAY HC OTIC C is commonly prescribed for ear infections, such as otitis externa (outer ear infection) or otitis media (middle ear infection) with accompanying inflammation.
