Combigan Eye Drops 5ml
Combigan Eye Drops 5Ml is a combination ophthalmic solution used to reduce elevated intraocular pressure in patients with glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
It contains brimonidine tartrate, an alpha-2 adrenergic agonist, and timolol maleate, a beta-blocker.
These two components work together to decrease the production of aqueous humor and increase its outflow from the eye.
This helps effectively lower eye pressure and protect the optic nerve from damage.
It is commonly prescribed when a single medication is not sufficient to control intraocular pressure.
- Instill one drop into the affected eye(s) twice daily or as prescribed
- Wash hands before use
- Avoid touching the dropper tip to prevent contamination
- Close eyes gently after application and press the inner corner for 1–2 minutes
- Remove contact lenses before use and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting
