Ferosac 100 mg Iron Sucrose Injection is a therapeutic form of iron, an essential mineral vital for the production of hemoglobin and the transport of oxygen in the blood. This injectable treatment is specifically used to manage iron deficiency anemia, particularly in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Ferosac is often administered alongside erythropoiesis-stimulating agents like Aranesp, Epogen, or Procrit to help stimulate the production of red blood cells. It is not intended for use in anemias that are not related to iron deficiency. Given under medical supervision, Ferosac offers a direct and effective way to replenish iron levels when oral supplementation is inadequate or not tolerated.
