Gloxib is a brand of celecoxib, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by reducing hormones causing inflammation and pain.
Celecoxib works by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, which are responsible for the production of prostaglandins.
By blocking these enzymes, Celecoxib reduces pain and inflammation.
- Take celecoxib exactly as prescribed, using the lowest effective dose
- It can be taken with or without food.
