losec mups 20mg tabs 14s contains omeprazole 20 mg, a proton pump inhibitor (ppi) that reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach.
It is used to treat acid-related conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (gerd), gastric and duodenal ulcers, and heartburn.
The mups (multiple unit pellet system) formulation allows the tablet to disperse in water for easier swallowing.
This formulation also ensures effective absorption of the medication.
It helps manage symptoms related to excess stomach acid production.
