Pediafast is an oral antihistamine treatment for baby, that relieves skin rash (dermatosis), itching (pruritus), hay fever and other allergic forms of rhinitis. The active ingredient, dimetindene maleate is an antihistamine. When ingested, the drops act internally, providing a rapid onset of action. Dimetindene maleate blocks the action of histamine (by preventing histamine to bind to the histamine receptors), which is a substance released by the body during allergic reactions. Each ml contains 1mg dimetindene.
