What Are the Benefits of This Supplement?

  • Flaxseed oil, also known as Linseed oil, is an excellent natural source of Alpha Linolenic Acid (ALA) which is an Omega-3 fatty acid. As the body is unable to produce them, Omega-3 fatty acids are essential additions to the diet.
  • Alpha Linolenic Acid (ALA) contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels. This beneficial effect can be found with a daily intake of 2g of ALA from food and supplements.

    This coldpressed flax seed oil works a treat helps with joint stiffness and memory function, it is easy to take and great quality.

    I was looking at flaxseed supplements as an alternative to fish oil like most vegetarians do. I saw the small bottle marked 'vegetarian' in small lettering, then I saw the bigger bottle and bought that. I was gutted to find that this bigger version was not Vegetarian as the capsules are made of gelatine and I don't eat the jelly from boiled bones - urgh!

    Larger labelling could have prevented this (especially when buying online, when you don't have the product in your hand, close up).

    I've since given them to someone who's not veggie.

    Great to have the Omega-3 option that isn't cod liver. ARGH. Larger capsules so they almost make taking them into a breakfast. This is a repeat purchase.
