This medicine is used to prevent infection of minor skin injuries. It contains a medicine called povidone-iodine which is an antiseptic that kills germs. This medicine is available as a spray that is applied to the affected areas of the skin. Do not apply this medicine on large areas of broken skin or severe burns. Speak to your doctor if your symptoms do not improve or if they get worse during treatment with this medicine.
