Ambolar 15mg/5 ml Cough Syrup 100ml
Ambolar 15mg/5 ml Cough Syrup contains Ambroxol Hydrochloride which is a clinically proven systemically active mucolytic agent that makes the sputum thinner and less viscous and therefore more easily removed by coughing. Ambolar is used in the treatment of respiratory diseases associated with viscid or excessive mucus. Ambroxol breaks down the acid mucopolysaccharide fibres which makes the sputum thinner and less viscous and therefore promotes mucus clearance.
Ambroxol is more effective in productive cough treatment associated with the formation of sticky and thick mucus in the airway passages and is difficult to clear. Ambroxol reduces its thickness and makes its removal easier from the airways passage.

- Recommended to be taken after meals
- Suggested dosage for Adults and children over 12 years of age: 10 mL two to three times per day, as required. Children aged 6 to 12 years: 5 mL two to three times per day, as required. Children aged 2 to 5 years: 2.5 mL thrice per day, as required. Children up to 2 years of age: 2.5 mL twice per day, as required under medical advice only.
