What Are the Benefits of This Supplement?

Vitamin D3 also contributes to the normal absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus.
  • When exposed to sunlight, our bodies will naturally make vitamin D3. This process happens when ultraviolet B (UVB) radiation from the sun triggers the 7-dehydrocholesteol to produce D3. Research suggests that everyone over the age of one years should have a daily intake of at least 10µg of Vitamin D per day to protect bone and muscle health. Government advice is that everyone should consider taking a daily vitamin D supplement, especially during the autumn and winter.

    Too early to judge if effective as we've only just started taking D3. Bit concerned that the bottle looked less than half full when it arrived so will have to wait to see if there are really 250 tablets by counting the days when we run out! Hopefully it was 'full' and we'll be boosting our immune systems.

    Size of tablets tiny in huge jar - why the change?
    I would think the size will be very difficult for older or less dextrous people to manage.

    We don�t get enough Vitamin D in GB either from sunshine and daylight or retain it in from the food we eat. By taking a simple tablet your health can be improved.

    Very tiny tablets, but very large bottle which seems to be a waste. When the size of the tablets were reduced, it would have been a good adea to make the bottle smaller at the same time.

    This aside the tablets have done the job.
