- Apply it to dry hair before shower. Take some of the product and apply it to different parts of your hair. Comb your hair, wait 5 minutes for the product to work on each strand, and rinse off the product. You can leave the product on your hair for 10 to 30 minutes, if you want. It is safe for use once or twice a week. It can be used after chemical or heat treatment.
