Our Collagen Effervescents include essential nutrients Vitamin C and Zinc, both of which have important functions within the body.
Vitamin C, or ascorbic acid as it is sometimes known, contributes to the normal formation of collagen in the body, which in turns helps to support the normal functioning of the skin.
Zinc is another skin-supporting nutrient. It contributes to the maintenance of normal skin.
Collagen is one of the most abundant proteins within the body, making up about a third of the total protein content in the body. Unfortunately, as we age, our collagen production naturally starts to slow down.
