I was advised to top up my magnesium levels a little and this seems to do the job, but I do find these tablets particularly hard to swallow for some reason. I think it could be the width/depth, or the fact the edges aren't rounded. I just struggle to get them down, despite the fact I take many more much larger tablets throughout the day. I'd still recommend them to anyone who asks about magnesium supplements, but if I could give one suggestion it would be to review the shape of the tablets.

As a life long sufferer of constipation I've finally found something that helps. Magnesium with zinc seems to do the trick. I add in extra magnesium to bring it up to the maximum daily dose, and for the first time in a long life can say that each day starts with great joy :)

Poor quality

I bought this product without realising there are various types of magnesium compounds and this product contains the worst one -
magnesium oxide which is the least absorbed by the body. So after experiencing no benefits (and I have taken magnesium supplements before that helped) but rather unpleseant digestive side effects I switched to a different type and immidiately noticed a difference. This is a cheap product to make so am surprised and dissapointed that H&B would use poor ingredients in their ptoducts. My lesson and advise is always do your research on the actual ingredients.
