What Are the Benefits of This Supplement?

Vitamin D3 also contributes to the normal absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus.
  • When exposed to sunlight, our bodies will naturally make vitamin D3. This process happens when ultraviolet B (UVB) radiation from the sun triggers the 7-dehydrocholesteol to produce D3. Research suggests that everyone over the age of one years should have a daily intake of at least 10µg of Vitamin D per day to protect bone and muscle health. Government advice is that everyone should consider taking a daily vitamin D supplement, especially during the autumn and winter.

    Decided to start taking Vitamin D3 in the winter months. These are small and easy to swallow.

    I've had basically no sunlight since mid-March and started to get severely dry eyes to the point I couldn't wear my contacts and woke up some mornings with very painful, swollen, photophobic eyes I couldn't open. I've been taking these for three weeks and it seems to have fixed my eye problem completely. I'll buy more when I run out.

    I am so glad to have these Vitamin D3 tablets to see me through the dark and dreary winter months, as there's little hope of getting sufficient vitamins from the sunshine (or lack of) so couldn't do without them. Such a nice low price too, so shall keep them in stock.

    I started taking these after reading an article suggesting that most adults in the UK are deficient in vitamin D. It's so far so good aftet taking them for a few months as I have had no colds or flu during this winter.
