What Are the Benefits of This Supplement?

Vitamin D3 also contributes to the normal absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus.
  • When exposed to sunlight, our bodies will naturally make vitamin D3. This process happens when ultraviolet B (UVB) radiation from the sun triggers the 7-dehydrocholesteol to produce D3. Research suggests that everyone over the age of one years should have a daily intake of at least 10µg of Vitamin D per day to protect bone and muscle health. Government advice is that everyone should consider taking a daily vitamin D supplement, especially during the autumn and winter.

    Product seems fine, but the label is confusing. I ordered D3, and the label just says vitamin D.

    I do not understand why on the product description it puts vitamin D3 and on the bottle only vitamin D. This is very misleading.
    Unfortunately short for time, rushing and wanting to make a quick purchase for my father I looked only at the description and did not check the bottle. There is a difference between the two and I am frankly quite shocked that this has not been rectified.
    My father has had an allergic reaction to the vitamin D tablets.
    I am most disappointed at Holland & Barrett whom I thought to be a sincere reputable company.

    I was prescribed this but it is no longer available on the NHS so I was pleased to see it available at Holland & Barrett so I can carry on taking it as it helps with bone health ??
