  • Take 1 Tablet/tablets per day, preferably with a meal. Do not exceed stated dose.

Folic acid is recommended before and during pregnancy.

Folic acid is the supplement form of a B vitamin called Folate that’s used by our bodies to make new cells. This vitamin works hard to support the rapid cell growth that happens during the early development of tissues and organs in the first weeks of pregnancy.

 

  • Supplemental folic acid intake increases maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the developing foetus.
