What Are the Benefits of This Supplement?

  • Flaxseed oil, also known as Linseed oil, is an excellent natural source of Alpha Linolenic Acid (ALA) which is an Omega-3 fatty acid. As the body is unable to produce them, Omega-3 fatty acids are essential additions to the diet.
  • Alpha Linolenic Acid (ALA) contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels. This beneficial effect can be found with a daily intake of 2g of ALA from food and supplements.

    I had previously bought the 500mg capsules which are suitable for vegetarians. I thought I would just buy the larger capsules not realising that they are not suitable for vegetarians, even though they are flaxseed and the packaging looks identical

    Dissapointed to discover that these contain gelatine. Was in the small print but feel it should be much clearer.
