What Are the Benefits of This Supplement?

  • Flaxseed oil, also known as Linseed oil, is an excellent natural source of Alpha Linolenic Acid (ALA) which is an Omega-3 fatty acid. As the body is unable to produce them, Omega-3 fatty acids are essential additions to the diet.
  • Alpha Linolenic Acid (ALA) contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels. This beneficial effect can be found with a daily intake of 2g of ALA from food and supplements.

    Was advised to take flaxseed for my very dry eyes by the optician. So found these in Holland and Barrett! Have been taking them for over 6years now and feel they have helped with not only my eyes but my general well-being.

    I have been advised by my doctor to take omega 3 supplements and as I am vegetarian I opted for these capsules. I didn't realise they had gelatine in the capsule. Next time I will buy the vegetarian ones.
    I can't fault Holland and Barrett and I will certainly shop with them again. Next time I might ask advice in the local store about my purchase first .
