Flaxseed oil, also known as Linseed oil, is an excellent natural source of Alpha Linolenic Acid (ALA) which is an Omega-3 fatty acid. As the body is unable to produce them, Omega-3 fatty acids are essential additions to the diet.
Alpha Linolenic Acid (ALA) contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels. This beneficial effect can be found with a daily intake of 2g of ALA from food and supplements.

Great natural remedy for dry eyes.

Recommended this from my optician to help with dry eyes, which is common for people with ulcerative colitis. They said to try this if fish oil supplements irritate your stomach. These have worked brilliantly, I�ve been able to stop using eye drops, has totally eased the discomfort and is a more natural solution. Eye health has improved, my optician said dry eyes could cause worsening of vision. Happy to take these to prevent that. Bought them for over 3 years now.
