Flaxseed oil, also known as Linseed oil, is an excellent natural source of Alpha Linolenic Acid (ALA) which is an Omega-3 fatty acid. As the body is unable to produce them, Omega-3 fatty acids are essential additions to the diet.
Alpha Linolenic Acid (ALA) contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels. This beneficial effect can be found with a daily intake of 2g of ALA from food and supplements.

The bottle hss sides and a bottom and a lid to keep the pills inside. The label has writing to tell you what's inside. And the pills are small and round so you can swallow them

Value omega 3 option

I had been taking fish oils for years but was alarmed by the possibility of the presence of heavy metals. So I changed to this flax seed oil when I saw the 2 for 1 offer. Extremely good value and without the fishy 'burps' that the previous capsules sometimes caused. I thnk I will stick with them but I tend to shop around for offers so Holland and Barrett will have to continue to be competitive on price.
